Mares Radar Snorkeling Set

Today's traveler needs a light mask and snorkel set that much higher quality than found in typical chain stores, but doesn't want to buy a full scuba mask and snorkel. Mares has filled that gap with their snorkeling combo sets. The masks are low volume (smaller space between your mask and eyes) which makes it easy to equalize when swimming down to see critters on the coral yet has large lenses to provide good vision. Skirt is made from 100% silicone. The snorkel is a great 'J' style snorkel (called that because of the shape). Its pre-bent to make it more comfortable in your mouth, tube has splash guard on top and a purge valve on the bottom. Not designed for scuba diving, it isn't flexible enough to keep out of your way for the regulator.
